Another tool I use on every Joomla! site I create is NinjaXplorer.  This tool works like an FTP client, Windows Explorer, or OSX Finder.  It allows you to navigate all the files in your Joomla! site and includes the following features:

• Search for files and folders by name.
• Create, edit, rename, copy, move, and delete files and folders.
• Upload new files.
• Download files.
• Change permissions for files and folders.
• View owner and group for files.
• Archive files and folders.

This is another must have if you are an administrator of a Joomla! site.  Try it out.
