My story with Jomtube... First time i saw Jomtube I only could say "WOW", what a cool component. I looked best out of all video-youtubeclone-galleries. I decided to buy this component. But there was the first time I had to think if I really buy it, because they wanted 49,90 $ for half year updates for a betasoftware and 79,90 for a year subscribtion. I looked in the forum and the support seems to be nice and they had a 3 day response guarantee. That is why I subscribed. First month was like in paradise. They component was beta for sure, but the developers answered questions in the forum and sent you corrected feature by email. you had to wait 3-6 days max. mostly the email was sent on the same night. But then Rick, the "main" developer, got a bunch of problems and there was nearly no more support. After two month with nearly no support Rick told about problems and said he was sorry. He wanted to fix the lack of support. They tried to establish a road map for their progress. but the roadmap was continued for 20 days then it was canceled. Now they only answering maybe once a week to only a few question. When they are asked, when the next version of there software is released a typical answer is end of the week or next week and nothing happens for 2-3 weeks. If the software were stable and had all the features i needed and they had promised would would recommand Jomtube and gave it 4-5 stars. But for a unstable betasoftware with lack of support I only can give 2 Stars. |
