This Joomla module checks when a user last logged in and will display different text depending on how long it's been since they last visited. Three timeframes can be shown/hidden independently with unique HTML-capable text for each. Also, a test mode is provided for checking that the display text is shown correctly.  Plenty of options to fit your needs, but easy to set up in just a few minutes.

• Introtext for beginning of module, "Welcome back"
• 3 independent 'timeframe' sections for displaying different content depending on amount of time away
• You set the number of days away before a user sees the specified text
• Text area for frequent visitors who don't fall into any of the timeframes
• Option to show either the first time frame found, or all timeframes the user falls into
• Optional guest text for users who aren't logged in
• Test mode allows you to 'simulate' being away for a number of days to quickly check your configuration
