CMS Market Connect is part of the CMS Market Author Tools to allow developers easily add up-to-date product information to their component, module, or template.

How it works:

By simply adding 3 lines of code to your product, a background XML-RPC call is made to CMS Market to retrieve current information about your product. This allows you to notify your customers about new versions and let them easily know where to get support when necessary. And even better, if you're support page changes, by updating it on your CMS Market product, all of your already installed extensions will be automatically updated as well!

Where can you add CMS Market Connect?

CMS Market Connect can currently be added to any Joomla component, module or extension. For components, you can place it anywhere on a page you create. For modules and templates, it's displayed in the parameter listing. You can view examples of integration into both a component and module by clicking the thumbnails above.

Can I customize the output?

Yes! You can re-arrange or change the looks of the included template file however you want. We do request that you at least mention CMS Market anywhere that you output information to the user.
